Konsep Balanced Scorecard

Di dalam konsep balanced scorecard, dijelaskan bahwa balanced scorecard menyelaraskan antara visi, misi dan strategi perusahaan dengan aktivitas bisnis di dalam perusahaan. Konsep balanced scorecard yang diperkenalkan oleh Kaplan dan Norton, juga menjelaskan bahwa komunikasi antara ekternal dan internal perusahaan harus berjalan selaras. Balanced scorecard juga dapat digunakan sebagai performance monitor dalam sebuah perusahaan.


Tujuan utama dari balanced scorecard adalah menyeimbangkan antara dua faktor sebab dan akibat. Maksud dari tujuan ini adalah menyeimbangkan antara apa yang dilakukan internal perusahaan untuk mencapai hasil yang diharapkan baik dari segi keuangan (Financial) maupun hal lainnya seperti loyalitas pelanggan (Customer).
